TOWARDS A BETTER HEALTH CENTRE
The Temple Fortune Health Centre is no longer fit for purpose to serve our growing local community. To respond to this, the Health Centre is planning to deliver a larger and improved surgery to deliver healthcare for our patients.
Our plans are funded by the addition of 11 apartments on three storeys above the surgery itself, with a design that is sensitive to our local setting on Temple Fortune Lane in mass and design.
As part of an extensive consultation, we have amended our original plans to recognise the feedback we have received.

Although we have submitted our application to the London Borough of Barnet, we still welcome your comments. If you would like to give us your feedback, you can still comment via the "YOUR FEEDBACK" tab at the top of this page.
We have updated some elements of our proposals, including a reduction in the number of apartments from 15 to 11, and a reduction in the massing of the building. You can see these changes reflected in the images used throughout this website.

PATIENT INFORMATION
If you are a patient with either of the practices located at the Temple Fortune Medical Centre, these proposals will have no impact on your registration.
Improving your experience and our service is a key reason for our proposals, and our patients will remain a priority throughout the project.
We particularly welcome comments from patients, even if you are supportive. Your comments in support of the changes can help deliver a modern Health Centre for the community.
This is a medium-term project, and the first stage is to obtain planning permission. If this permission is granted, we will then find a suitable temporary location nearby for the duration of the redevelopment. Once a suitable location is found, we will conduct a fully-NHS compliant service move consultation with our patients.
